The Post-ABC News poll found that 83 percent of Americans approve of Obama’s drone policy, which administration officials refuse to discuss, citing security concerns.

Well, I'll be screwed, blued and tatooed. I had not really come to terms with the fact that a hyper-majority* of Americans are positively on board the banal evil train. But when forced to consider it, it does seem a plausible figure.

*That is, 3/4 or more -- allowing up to 8% inflation based on that I suspect people who don't approve of established institutions in general are less likely to answer polls than people who do, and pollsters are unlikely to take this sufficiently into account.

Don't know if you'd find this to be tasty bamboo or not, but there you go.

...allowing up to 8% inflation based on that I suspect people who don't approve of established institutions in general are less likely to answer polls than people who do...

You've got a point there; I know I get off the phone with pollsters as fast as humanly possible.

Note how the president's apologists will insist that he - a man who has murdered a 9/11-s worth of civilians and is daily murdering more - is a "lesser evil" than the Republican bogeyperson du jour, who is certain to start a war!

Add this to the recent "Leave no one accountable" bank settlement, and wow, one just can't wait to see how the Obama supporters (and I don't mean the formal Democrats) spin this!
