Mark Halperin’s mistakes

Mark Halperin made two serious mistakes when he said that Obama was "kind of a dick yesterday":

I fully support MSNBC's decision to suspend Halperin over these misleading and wholly unnecessary qualifiers.

you missed the third mistake: is.
So, if he said “Obama is a dick.” He’d still be on the air — on FOX, but still one air.

If I mentioned “was” I’d have had to deal with “thought”, and then it would have gotten too unwieldy. Joke must focus power!
