Between the article you point out, "Gap Between Rich And Poor Named Eighth Wonder Of The World," "Millions Of Barrels Of Oil Safely Reach Port In Major Environmental Catastrophe," and "8.4 Million New Yorkers Suddenly Realize New York City A Horrible Place To Live," I think the Onion has permanently earned itself a reputation for being far, far, far more reliable as a real news source than, say, CNN.

Can't argue with that. There's some tension at the Onion between the Borowitz-style Democratic whores and the stray lefty who writes articles like this one, but at least there is tension.

I had been blissfully unaware of Borowitz. I'll have to file that under information I was better off not knowing, sort of the way the average person views Wikileaks.

Borowitz was recommended to me a long time ago by a co-worker who was always ranting about things like the liberal bias of Time Magazine. I'd never gotten around to looking at it until now.

My apologies, JMC, though honestly I thought maybe I could lessen my own pain if I spread it around a bit.

...sort of the way the average person views Wikileaks.
