As trivial as it may be, I'm always glad to hear stuff like this:
Kilmer agreed with a reporter that "he was giving a 'strong maybe' for a run for governor." [...] Now we also know that Val Kilmer donated more thant (sic) $4,000 during the 2008 presidental (sic) cycle to none other than Ralph Nader, the perennial green and/or independent candidate for president. [...]
Think about it. In a year when Democrats were fighting so hard to take back the White House, someone who says he'd like to be our governor was busy writing checks to support a candidate running against Obama. In the general election cycle. Inexcusable, isn't it?
Inexcusably cool that I can watch Top Secret again with a clear conscience, you mean? Yes it is!
Fuck, yeah! Go, Val. Almost wish I still lived in New Mexico, so I could vote for him when he runs.
Hey, who knows? It is pretty much the only state I'd even consider returning to live in. Green chilis ... mmmmmmm ...

The comments over there are hilarious.

I think it's a great testimony to Barack Obama's talents that he was still able to be elected President, even without Mr. Kilmer's $4,000, using only the approximately eleventy-gazillion dollars he got from Goldman Sachs.
But still, what a close call. Shame on you, Mr. Kilmer!
