Given this bit of news—in which the Bush administration tries to achieve a new high in synchronized evil by simultaneously making it easier to kill off endangered species while also destroying Tuvalu—it's ironic that I chose this Onion editorial cartoon as an example of outrageous parody:

Yeah, I guess it was an iffy choice, since I've said much the same thing about Gore on here more than once. But the animals are so cute.

I had a sort of similar problem with my excellent website. I tried to make the style inhumanly bad to make clear it was an attempt at satire, but almost all the people in the guestbook thought I was serious. I don't know if that's relevant.
