You've got to love this headline: "Israeli settlement activity surges despite peace talks". Yes, what a bewildering irony that is. I can barely make sense of it. I'm just as perplexed as the author. You can feel my sincerity, I know.
Other headlines in this series include:
- Man bleeds to death despite being bitten by shark
- Corporations evil despite profit motive
- Movie sucks despite Natalie Portman
- Peeps fun to eat despite being slathered in sugar
- Triangle isosceles despite having two equal sides
At the danger of offending Donald Johnson with inconsequential banter, I must point out that Peeps are disgusting. If you must eat marshmallows, have the ones without the yellow peeps shape. Peeps taste like crap because(?) of some(?) chemical additive.

I agree that Peeps are disgusting, but they're still fun to eat (read: chew), thanks entirely to the gritty sugar coating. The consistency is all they've got going for them...after all, what sane person likes marshmallows?

Now that's Change I Can Believe In!

StO: Sure, you pretend to be cynical about change, but I suspect you'll always believe in mitosis and meiosis.

In this particular thread I would be more offended by consequential banter. However, it is well that you understand the risks you are taking.

Mitosis? Isn't that really just "more of the same"?

StO: Nice one—you could print that on T-shirts and make a fortune selling it to science nerds.
