Nancy Pelosi speaks a critical truth

Here's my very own Representative, Nancy Pelosi,  speaking a critical truth:

Ms. Pelosi, Democrat of California, said, "If freedom-loving people throughout the world do not speak out against Israel’s oppression in the West Bank and Gaza, we have lost all moral authority to speak on behalf of human rights anywhere in the world."

Or she would have been, if she hadn't actually been talking about China and Tibet.

Obviously, it would be wrong to claim that the conflicts in the Himalayas are rooted primarily in the actions of stalwart allies like China, instead of emanating from the perverse and hateful ideologies of radical Buddhism.

Yep, it is...and he was apparently reading my mind again, since for most of the lifetime of this posting I was trying to shoehorn Obama's candidacy-invalidating quote into it, before I got tired of tying down the connections and just snipped it entirely.
