Social commentary in a deck of cards?

So I'm looking at the joker from a deck of Congress playing cards...

...and for the first time I really see it.  You have "US" transformed into a dollar sign, and the two resulting dollar signs hovering around the United States Capitol.  Am I detecting some subtle symbolism here?  Seriously, this is right up there with THIS IS YOUR GOD secretly imprinted on dollar bills in They Live (one of the greatest political movies of all time).

Now, you could be a hopeless cynic and refuse to believe that the United States Playing Card Company is intentionally stacking their decks with anti-capitalist symbolism.  But it's much more entertaining to think that the corporation is secretly run by lefties who are hell-bent on overthrowing the existing political order, one card player at a time.
